Overview

Maritime Counternarcotic Analyst

Location: Suitland, MD.

Clearance: Active TS/SCI

 

Integral Federal is seeking Maritime Counter-Narcotic Analysts to support the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Counter-Narcotics (CN) Division's mission to aid its customers in detecting, monitoring, and facilitating the interdiction of illicit transnational drug flows within the maritime domain.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct CD threat assessments of illicit drug/precursor chemicals being transshipped via commercial/non-commercial maritime vessels or methods, to include within shipping containers
  • Conduct Automatic Identification System (AIS) analysis
  • Prepare detailed assessments on drug trafficking organizations (DTO) and other illicit actors’ networks, affiliation with maritime transportation networks/companies, TTPs and maritime routes
  • Provide analytic support to national, theater, and law enforcement intelligence requirements through varied assessments to include but not limited to:
    • DTO Threat Assessment
    • Regional Assessment of Maritime Narcotics Flows
    • CD Force Assessments
    • Port CD Threat Assessments
    • CN Baseline Assessments
    • Maritime Intelligence Report (MIR)
    • ONI Today (ONIT) Report
    • Maritime Capability Milestones Format
Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Possess an Active Top Secret/SCI Eligibility level clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Possess five (5) years all-source analytical experience that addresses experience writing or supporting analytical products;
  • OR a maritime bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of all-source analytical experience as stated above;
  • OR a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (i.e. International Relations, Intelligence Analysis and three (3) years of all-source analytical experience)
  • Understand and have a working knowledge of the Intelligence Community Analytic Standards as set by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence within the Intelligence Community Directive 203
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Intelligence Production Tradecraft, which includes the following qualities:
    • Classification of documents
    • Intelligence Sourcing Methodology
    • Using the Telegraphed Inverted Pyramid Model (TIPM); and
    • Have knowledge of maritime security and capabilities
    • Have the ability to travel locally and accomplish tasks from alternate work locations within 30 miles of the Washington DC Metro Area

 

Preferred:

 

  • CN subject matter expertise;
  • Prior experience coordinating with other intelligence agencies;
  • Working knowledge of the following Intelligence Community (IC) tools: Analyst Notebook, JEMA, ACE-M, CultWeave, PROTON, and Palantir; and
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).

 

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

 

The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
