Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in test engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with coding in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting to generate product-specific test plans and executing test processes.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with overseeing yield improvements and cycle time reductions for high volume and high complexity parts.
- Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge repeatability and reproducibility, and correlation study for each change management.
- Experience with DFT, structural tests (e.g., In-Circuit Testing/Boundary Scan (ICT/B-SCAN)), board and system level functional test (e.g., L6 and L10)
- Experience with test stations bringing-up, calibration and setup for production test purposes and working with Contract Manufacturer (CM) partners on Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Joint Design Manufacturer (JDM) projects.
About the jobIn this role, you will develop, enhance and sustain manufacturing test processes, tools and procedures for manufacturing operation of products to be deployed at Google Data Center. You will be ensuring manufacturing test processes are repeatable and controlled. You will collaborate with the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineers, Hardware/Software Design Engineers, and Quality Engineers to drive improvements to products and manufacturing processes. You will ensure the various pieces of Google's infrastructure fit together and keep the systems humming along for a seamless user experience.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$172,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities- Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to help them understand and apply RCCA tools and principles and analyze/understand failure to resolve issues.
- Partner with the NPI team to define Design For Test (DFT) requirements and provide input to manufacturing test strategy.
- Design, build, optimize and deploy test platforms for Google compute server at the global manufacturing partners.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause of manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes. Drive issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with internal engineers and partner engineers to drive test improvement for efficiency and effectiveness.
