Job DescriptionSummary / Purpose of PositionThe Manufacturing Team Lead is responsible for supporting the daily execution of manufacturing operations within the Arista and Aspen product lines. This position serves as the primary shop floor resource for operators by coordinating workflow, supporting training activities, ensuring adherence to quality and safety requirements, and escalating issues that impact performance, quality, or service. The Team Lead works closely with the Operations Supervisor to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP) objectives while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Training Shift : 1st Shift 6 am to 2:30 pm M-F ( After the training period , 2nd shift schedule will be followed)Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assign and coordinate daily work activities based on production priorities.
- Monitor workflow and staffing throughout the shift and communicate resource needs.
- Support schedule attainment and daily production goals.
- Ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and quality requirements.
- Train, onboard, and cross-train operators.
- Support safety initiatives and maintain a clean manufacturing environment.
- Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for day-to-day operational issues.
- Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Materials, and Maintenance.
- Assist in production activities as business needs require.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency.
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
