The Impact You'll Make

As a Manufacturing Systems Specialist in Tallahassee, Florida, you will help keep the digital systems behind global manufacturing operations available, reliable, and ready to support production. Your work with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) will directly improve production-line data collection, product configuration, and operational continuity.

This is a newly created role where you can shape how local manufacturing systems support develops. You will serve as the site's key MES resource while gaining global exposure through collaboration with Manufacturing IT, suppliers, system integrators, external support partners, and other factories.

You will also contribute to technology projects for new production lines, factory expansions, and new manufacturing locations, supporting the journey from requirements and testing through go-live and operational handover.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Protect production uptime by monitoring and supporting Siemens MES and connected manufacturing applications, resolving incidents, recurring failures, transaction issues, and system-interface problems.
  • Improve system reliability by maintaining MES configurations, master data, workflows, user access, reports, application logs, and technical documentation.
  • Connect manufacturing technologies by supporting ERP, equipment, database, BarTender, REST service, and JSON integrations, using SQL for controlled troubleshooting, reporting, and data validation.
  • Deliver successful MES projects by contributing to requirements, design, configuration, testing, commissioning, go-live, and handover for new lines and factory expansions.
  • Coordinate solutions across a global network by partnering with Manufacturing IT, suppliers, system integrators, external support teams, and manufacturing sites to drive issues and project deliverables through completion.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least 3+ years of experience supporting MES, manufacturing applications, or other production-critical systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Practical experience with MES and SCADA systems, including production-line data collection, product configuration, system troubleshooting, and manufacturing application support.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Azure DevOps, BarTender, REST APIs, JSON, and application logs, with the ability to use these tools safely for troubleshooting, validation, testing, changes, and documentation.
  • A systematic approach to problem-solving, clear communication and documentation skills, and the flexibility to work effectively across functions, cultures, suppliers, and global locations. This position includes domestic and international travel.
