THE WORKAs a Supervisor within the Avionics Product Center, you will oversee a team of hourly operators across one or multiple business units in Stratford, CT. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the assembly, testing, and control of in-process and finished goods meet company standards, government regulations, and contract requirements. You will:
• Supervise and manage daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Assist in developing and managing budgets, staffing, and training programs.
• Participate in management meetings to discuss business status and strategies.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate company objectives and business updates.
• Ensure a safe working environment through regular Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.
• Promote an ethics-based business culture and encourage employee involvement and innovation.

Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings
Ability to work in customer-focused environment, maintaining effective communication with internal/external customers, including DCMA
US Citizenship is required due to program requirements
Desired SkillsExperience in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with represented hourly labor force
Experience with SAP
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, either ISO 9001 or AS9100
Excellent written and verbal communication skills a plus
Previous Sikorsky experience
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00
