Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality assurance for multiple sectors
  • Ensure consistent application of the Process Control Plan aligned with FMEA
  • Encourage proactive risk management among supervisors
  • Act as the traceability system expert on the manufacturing floor
  • Conduct Process Audits and FMEAs
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation and oversee related training
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within assigned perimeter
  • Implement containment actions and conduct root cause analysis for quality issues
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to discussions on quality for new processes and control capabilities.
  • Serve as the local expert for assembled products in designated areas.

Full Job Description
This role will take all necessary actions to make sure that a product or service will satisfy customer requirements and is the driving force in implementing continuous quality improvement.
This involves
• The Quality Excellence of the Offers delivered to the customers
• The Quality Excellence of Supply Chain (from Supplier to Customers)
• The timely and effective management of customer containment actions (Business Risk Escalation, Offer Safety Alerts etc.)

There will be up to 15% travel during the first 9-12 months to support product line relocation and project execution activities. The percentage of travel will be minimal after this time period, fully supporting our Fairfield, OH facility.

What will you do?
• In charge of the Quality of one or several sectors
• Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied and consistent with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• Challenge supervisors to identify and manage risks in a preventive mode
• Be the local expert of the traceability system for the manufacturing floor
• Lead Process Audits and Process FMEAs
• Create and maintain quality control documentation, ensure related training and application in the sector
• Lead continuous improvement on its perimeter
• Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issue and problem solving on his sector
• Be a member of the Short Interval Management (of the production lines)
• Provide solutions to increase Customer Satisfaction
• Provide input and challenges about quality for new evolution, contribute to process/control capability implementation.
• Be the local expert of the assembled products in his sector

What qualifications will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic etc.)
• 3 + years of experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent
• Experience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e. 5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), etc.)
• Six Sigma knowledge, experience, certification highly desired
• Experience on ESD desired.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
