Inside the Role

Quality is at the center of everything we build. In this role, you will lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals who partner closely with Operations to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. As a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Supervisor II, you will drive quality performance through team development, structured problem solving, process discipline, and cross-functional collaboration. Your leadership will play a critical role in achieving key quality objectives, resolving quality concerns, and sustaining the manufacturing processes that ensure our customers receive products built right the first time.

Position offers a starting salary range of$95,000 - $121,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Champion a culture where safety is the highest priority and ensure compliance with all safety requirements within the assigned production area.

  • Lead, coach, and develop Quality Assurance team members to achieve performance objectives while building technical capability and engagement.

  • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and support teams to maintain and improve product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Drive rapid containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification activities to resolve quality concerns and prevent recurrence.

  • Facilitate structured problem-solving efforts and continuous improvement initiatives to improve process capability and overall product quality.

  • Monitor key quality performance indicators, including First Time Through (FTT), Defects Per Unit (DPU), audit performance, and defect trends, and take action to achieve business objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with design-critical manufacturing processes, quality standards, and established work instructions.

  • Support investigations related to internal, customer, supplier, and production quality concerns.

  • Foster accountability and collaboration across functional teams to drive operational and quality excellence.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Business, or a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience; OR

  • Six (6) or more years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing, production, quality, logistics, or distribution environment in lieu of a degree.

  • Demonstrated leading hourly employees experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or operational environment.

  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, A3, Six Sigma, etc.).

  • Experience with quality systems such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, APQP, or PPAP.

  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills with experience driving corrective and preventive actions.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and utilize data to drive operational improvements.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other technical degree.

  • Experience in automotive, heavy manufacturing, bus, truck, or related production environments.

  • Quality assurance experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.

  • Experience working directly with suppliers and supplier quality initiatives.

  • Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience leading cross-functional quality investigations and improvement projects
