Manufacturing Project Engineer (Multiple Positions), Becton Dickinson and Company, Canaan, CT. Ensure project objectives are met in terms of scope, time, cost, and quality. Review existing technical, regulatory, business, and operational needs. Coordinate cross-manufacturing and commercialization. Conduct transition from manufacturing to commercialization. Collaborate with cross-functional project team members to ensure programs satisfy business, customer, and regulatory requirements. Support the development of cross-functional teams, matrix management of multi-functional teams. Oversee engineering project life cycles. Maintain project budget and time subject area. Develop protocols for proposed projects, using sound engineering and statistical technologies and techniques.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $132,766/yr - $199,805.83/yr. Standard company benefits.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Engineering (any), or a related field, and five (5) years of post-bachelor's, progressive, related work experience.
Must have five (5) years of experience with/in:
- End-of-project equipment turn-key validation protocol;
- Managing high speed/high volume manufacturing environment such as disposable medical device, food, or beverage manufacturing or pharmaceutical (proprietary or OTC);
- Knowledge of direct cost systems, quality control, management principles and practices, manufacturing processes, equipment and scheduling, industrial/associate relations, and wage and incentive systems; and
- Utilizing SAP and Microsoft Office tools to effectively communicate project tasks and requirements.
