Join Revology Cars as a Manufacturing Process Engineer

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Process Engineer drives process excellence by improving quality, efficiency, and Lean performance across manufacturing operations. This role leads process development, defect prevention, root cause resolution, cycle time improvement, and staffing analysis to ensure processes are capable, repeatable, and aligned with production targets.

The role partners closely with Production, Quality, Product Development, PVT, and Supply Chain to support process readiness, engineering changes, and quality standards. It also ensures processes are validated, documented, and deployed with proper training before release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage process improvement initiatives to increase quality, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.
  • Develop and implement Lean manufacturing tools, including value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and standardized work.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, improve cycle time, and optimize workflow.
  • Analyze process data and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Product Development, PVT, and Supply Chain to support process readiness and engineering changes.
  • Oversee the validation, documentation, and release of process and product changes, including work instructions, manuals, and technician training.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve manufacturing and quality issues using structured problem-solving methods such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and 8D.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and sustainable Lean practices across operations.


Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience:
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is required.
  • Automotive industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes in areas such as Body, Paint, Sub-assembly, or Final Assembly is preferred.

Skills:
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process validation, Data analysis and interpretation skills is required.
  • Ability to review projects in CAD is required; design experience is not required.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) is a nice to have.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, with strong verbal and written communication skills, is required.

Software:
  • Knowledge of MES, Minitab, SQL, Power BI, and Power Automate is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project is required.


Additional Requirements:

It also requires regular work in both office and manufacturing environments, including extended standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and use of PPE as needed.
