Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 2 years of experience in medium or large power transformer manufacturing
Experience in manufacturing engineering, project management, or industrial operations
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification preferred
Familiarity with SAP (S/4HANA preferred) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment

In this role, you won't just improve processes-you'll design, implement, and influence them, while contributing to the successful launch of a high-performance manufacturing site and collaborating with global teams supporting the energy transition.
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role across the full lifecycle of large power transformer production-from early facility setup and process design to ongoing optimization and innovation.
You'll work cross-functionally to design efficient, scalable, and safe manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the successful ramp-up of production. This role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact in a greenfield environment while collaborating with global peers to bring new ideas and innovations into the Charlotte facility.
