Job DescriptionYou will be the Manufacturing Planner (Level 2) for the PAC-3 Program Team. Our team is responsible for overseeing program and manufacturing planning, managing production schedules, material procurement, and workflow prioritization.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Manufacturing Planner (Level 2) you will be responsible for ensuring data integrity in the MRP system, optimizing material flow, and delivering accurate production status to stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain data integrity in the MRP system and manage material flow, inventory optimization, and production schedules.
- Provide status reports to internal customers and analyze production data to inform business decisions.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and supply-chain teams to align priorities.
- Identify and drive continuous-improvement initiatives across the PAC-3 program.
- Support travel and communication with all production sites and vendor locations as needed.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Logistics from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience/combined education
• Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
• Demonstrated strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
• Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (interim secret clearance is required to start role)
Desired skills• Familiar with Manufacturing Planning and Supply Chain Management concepts, including Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Production Planning and Control (PP&C), and Supply Chain Management and Procurement Principles
• Basic Knowledge in Inventory Control, Material Handling and Warehouse Management Systems
• Basic Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Concepts and Processes
• Basic Knowledge of supply and demand with the ability to analyze and respond to changes in customer demand, supplier lead times, and inventory levels to ensure optimal production planning and scheduling
• Basic Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600 - $106,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $69,700 - $120,750. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
