Description

This role is responsible for delivering core HR services across U.S. East Coast manufacturing sites within a global, matrixed organization. The Human Resources Manager partners with site leadership to ensure compliant, consistent, and employee-focused HR practices. The position plays a key role in strengthening workforce quality, managing employee relations, and driving engagement and continuous improvement across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end HR operations including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and offboarding
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and site leadership to attract and retain a high-quality workforce
  • Maintain accurate HR systems, employee records, and documentation
  • Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and timely resolution of workplace issues
  • Interpret and administer HR policies in alignment with company standards and U.S. employment laws
  • Support compliance activities, audits, and risk management initiatives
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership on performance management, workforce planning, and organizational changes
  • Deliver HR training and support annual processes such as performance reviews and feedback programs
  • Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, capability development, and overall employee experience
  • Partner with EHS and site leadership to promote a safe and compliant work environment
  • Support site-level HR initiatives and employee engagement activities across multiple locations


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification preferred

3-5 years of HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing and / or multi-site environment

Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, HR policies, and compliance requirements

Experience managing employee relations and workplace investigations

Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools

High attention to detail, organization, and process discipline

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive matters

Willingness to travel between regional sites as needed
