WHAT YOU WILL DO...
• Provide L2/L3 support for MES applications, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.
• Ensure high availability and performance of MES across manufacturing environments.
• Manage incident, problem, and change processes aligned to ITIL practices.
• Perform system monitoring, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Design and implement functional enhancements in AVEVA MES (Production, Quality, Inventory, Performance modules).
• Drive standardization of MES capabilities across multiple sites.
• Support new plant deployments, expansions, and capability rollouts.
• Design, develop, and maintain AVEVA System Platform object templates (Q-Objects).
• Establish governance for object versioning, naming conventions, and deployment models.
• Enable data capture, contextualization, and visibility from MES systems.
• Support integration with analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, data lakes).
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance requirements are met.
• Support validation and compliance efforts after major enhancements or patching of the MES system.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience in the field of manufacturing.
• 3-7+ years of hands-on experience with an industrial MES (Aveva, Rockwell, ).
• Strong experience with AVEVA System Platform / Application Server.
• Proven experience designing and implementing object-oriented industrial models.
• Experience supporting manufacturing environments (CPG, Food & Beverage, Pharma, etc.).
• Knowledge of ISA-95 / ISA-88 standards and manufacturing data models.
• Experience with SCADA systems, PLC integration, and industrial communication protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
IF WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)
• Experience with additional MES platforms (e.g., Rockwell FTPC, Siemens Opcenter, Traksys Parsec).
• Familiarity with AVEVA Historian and AVEVA Insight / CONNECT.
• Experience integrating MES with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) and data engineering pipelines.
• Experience with Power BI or other manufacturing analytics tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices in OT environments.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$109,700-$150,800
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
