Manufacturing Engineer
Position Overview:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior engineering professional to play a pivotal, hands-on role in overseeing, guiding, and scaling local manufacturing operations at a newly expanded facility in Houston, Texas.

This role is ideal for a seasoned technical leader who thrives on end-to-end operational execution-from production planning and quality assurance to process optimization and vendor coordination. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with local and remote teams to drive operational excellence, ensure top-tier product reliability, and support the strategic growth of a rapidly expanding facility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality assurance workflows at the Houston facility.
  • Maintain, develop, and implement manufacturing and operational strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Ensure on-time product delivery while upholding rigorous safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Optimize materials, components, and production resource availability while managing a minimal inventory footprint.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, resource utilization, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, operational records, and equipment calibration and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering, R&D, supply chain, and quality teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and process improvements.
  • Support multi-facility corporate initiatives, local health and safety protocols, and ISO management systems, including required training and auditing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience within a manufacturing, production, or quality operations environment, including formal management or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Mandatory industry experience within the Power, Energy, or EMS sectors.
  • Strong expertise in production operations, quality systems, PCB manufacturing, and circuit board inspection processes.
  • Direct experience working with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Proven track record collaborating with design engineering teams, EMS providers, vendors, and manufacturing partners while monitoring KPIs.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP) and standard inventory or production management tools.
  • Exposure to automated test systems, in-circuit programming, NI LabVIEW, TestStand, or IPC-A-610 inspection standards is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Houston, Texas, 5 days per week.
  • Willingness to relocate to Houston at your own expense, if applicable.
  • Availability to onboard and start working by the first week of August.
Rewards:
