Full Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, test, and implement new processes, equipment, and workflows to optimize production performance
  • Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, quality, safety, and cost
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, SOEs, visual aids, and process flow diagrams
  • Estimate cost of labor, materials, and equipment to prepare the corresponding quotes and justifications
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process, product, equipment issues
  • Responsible for mechanical equipment design - design components, systems, instruments, products, and specify the technical requirements of them
  • Work with vendors and manufacturers to design and develop tools, fixtures, and test equipment to implement a cost-effective solution
  • Analyze and prepare technical drawings, specifications, and diagrams to ensure the installation and operation of designed equipment conforms to standard and customer requirements
  • Train production staff on new or revised processes and technologies
  • Communicate and maintain good working relationships with engineering partners and customers
  • Work in coordination with facilities personnel in the installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Present information to leadership, public groups, and/or boards of directors


Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or closely related field required; master's degree a plus
  • 2+ years' industry experience required; 5+ years' experience preferred


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience in design software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, CATIA, or other 3D CAD modeling
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping)
  • Knowledge and experience in equipment integration, starting from opportunity evaluation, prototype development, prototype testing and validation, quotation, and project justification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong English verbal and written skills required
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ASME, ISO) is a plus

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $80,000.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
