Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for our programs, assisting in the development of comprehensive recovery plans for various projects. You will perform reviews of contract and design requirements to ensure the acceptance of quality notifications, track the status of project schedules and deliverables, and work closely with the Unit Manager to maintain contract performance metrics. Additionally, you will interface with both Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams to manage changes to component designs and support quotes for new work by reviewing technical requirements and preparing person-hour estimates. Location: On-site in Mount Vernon, Indiana
Your Day to Day as Manufacturing Engineer:- Serve as the primary point of contact/coordinator for the program

Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Nuclear, Civil, or Welding Engineering; Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering Technology; Physics; or Engineering Physics. Degrees from ABET-accredited programs are preferred.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance is required.
- US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience providing engineering support in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Familiarity with SAP preferred

Pay: $65,000 - $103,000
The base salary range for this position in Indiana (US-IN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $65,000 and $103,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
