Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
• 5 to 15+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process engineering involving precision mechanical components.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering documentation standards.
• Experienced in troubleshooting technical issues in a production environment.
• Knowledge of DFM, PFMEA, SPC, and corrective-action methodologies.
• Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries.
• Strong hands-on aptitude for developing practical solutions.
• Ability to design or adapt tools and equipment for unique production needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing processes for high-reliability mechanical assemblies.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and specialized equipment for production.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues using root-cause and corrective-action methods.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to transition designs into compliant production workflows.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation and technical reports.
• Support pilot builds, qualification activities, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear industry standards and safety requirements.
