Job Requirements

POSITION: Manufacturing Engineer

What You will Do:
  • Support manufacturing facilities with the transition of mature commercial engine hardware between production sites.
  • Lead manufacturing transition activities for assigned aerospace engine components from raw material through final inspection.
  • Serve as the responsible Manufacturing Engineer for charter parts throughout the transition process.
  • Drive and coordinate MCL cut-up requirements, process sheet reviews and approvals, and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation activities.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, tooling, planning, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful industrialization and transition execution.
  • Review engineering requirements, manufacturing processes, and production risks to support successful hardware transfers.
  • Support process improvement and manufacturing readiness activities during transition efforts.
  • Track project milestones, risks, and action items while providing recurring status updates to leadership and stakeholders.


What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 8-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or heavy manufacturing environments.
  • Experience serving as a Charter Part Engineer or equivalent role with ownership of hardware processing from raw material through final inspection.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing transitions, industrialization efforts, or production transfers between facilities.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, process sheets, FAI requirements, and production documentation.
  • Experience coordinating MCL cut-up activities, process approvals, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.


Pay Range: $75K- $90K

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor, CT
• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.

Citizenship requirements: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required
