Full Job Description
Eaton is currently seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor for its manufacturing site in Arden, NC. This 4/10 role is onsite Monday - Thursday and supervises our Medium Voltage Controls Assembly (MVCA) team from 5:00am to 3:30pm. Additional hours will be required to ensure proper preparation for shift start-up and occasional overtime.

The Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating manufacturing activities to achieve maximum productivity, while maintaining world-class standards in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. This role supports the Plant, Operations and Manufacturing Managers in developing and implementing processes that promote a zero-incident safety culture, maximize production output, maintain equipment reliability, and reduce overall operational costs.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily production operations and provide direct leadership to employees within the assigned area.
• Support hiring, staffing, and performance management activities; maintain accurate departmental records for productivity, quality, and attendance.
• Coach, motivate, and counsel employees to drive performance, engagement, and ongoing skill development.
• Accurately manage timecards, attendance, and scheduling in Kronos, including work schedules, vacations, and overtime.
• Lead and support plant-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and execute staffing plans and production schedules to meet or exceed operational targets.
• Plan and prioritize production activities based on customer delivery requirements, operational efficiency, and material availability.
• Monitor departmental and plant-wide performance to ensure quality and productivity standards are consistently achieved or exceeded.
• Promote and utilize company systems and tools to ensure effective execution of processes within assigned areas.
• Drive employee engagement in Lean manufacturing initiatives, including standard work, 5S, pull systems, team empowerment, and structured problem-solving.
• Champion a behavioral-based safety culture focused on achieving zero incidents.
• Foster a positive work environment aligned with company values, encouraging continuous improvement and employee engagement.
• Communicate policies, procedures, and expectations clearly and ensure consistent adherence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to optimize workflow and meet quality and delivery expectations.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support business objectives.

Required Qualifications
• Education & Experience (one of the following): Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; OR Associate's degree from an accredited institution with 2+ years of direct leadership experience; OR High school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of operations experience, including 5+ years of demonstrated direct leadership experience
