TechnicalDue Diligence is a critical component of investment and transaction decision-making. Organizations rely on expert technical insight to understand the operational performance, asset integrity, business plans, and technical risks associated with infrastructure and energy assets.

As a Managing Consultant, you will help clients evaluate opportunities and makeconfident investment decisions while contributing to the growth and evolution of ERM's global Transaction Services practice. Your expertise will directly influence major infrastructure, energy, and investment projects around the world.

  • Serveas a trusted advisor to clients evaluating infrastructure and energy investments.
  • Delivertechnical, operational, and business plan assessments that support buy-side, sell-side, and project financing transactions.
  • Developand strengthen relationships with infrastructure funds, private equity firms, investment banks, financial institutions, and energy companies.
  • Drivebusiness growth by identifying opportunities and contributing to new business development initiatives.
  • Collaborateacross ERM's global network of technical experts and practice communities.
  • Mentor anddevelop consulting teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Helpexpand ERM's market presence and reputation within the Technical Due Diligence and Transaction Advisory Services marketplace.

WhatYou'll Bring
Required
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ yearsof experience in technical consulting, engineering, or operational experience during your career within the energy and/or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strongtechnical skills and the ability to identify risks and opportunities within technical documentation, site visits, and technical discussions relating to asset integrity, operational performance, management systems, and business plans.
  • Demonstrated organizationalskills, self-motivation, self-sufficiency, and the ability to work successfully in a fast-turnaround team environment.
  • Ability topromote and execute quality work while ensuring high standards are achieved by both individual and team performance.
  • Advancedreport writing and presentation skills.
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability tooperatea company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. 
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Preferred
  • Experiencemanaging external client projects.
  • Abilityto manage or assist with complex project delivery involving multiple workstreams and integrated client deliverables.
  • Previousexperience in Technical Due Diligence.
  • Corporatefinance qualification.
  • Interestin domestic and overseas travel to perform site visits when required.
  • Knowledgeof renewable energy, including Solar and Storage.
  • Knowledgeof current, reasonable Capex (Capital Expense) and Opex (Operational Expense) costs associated with engineering assets and projects.

KeyResponsibilities
  • Manage andsuccessfully deliver medium to large, complex and/or multidisciplinary projects and/or specific deliverables or phases of work on larger, more complex or higher complexity programs.
  • As asenior seller/doer, contribute to the business development of ERM's global Transaction Services technical community.
  • Identifyand develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active leadership role in the development of new business, in cooperation with ERM Partners.
  • Developand expand client relationships that generate repeat business.
  • Executeprojects that provide clients with a technical, operational, and business plan evaluation of their proposed investment in infrastructure assets.
  • Capitalizeon existing client relationships to expand ERM's profile and market share in the regional Transaction Services technical market through a combination of technical excellence and business development.
  • Workeffectively across technical communities within ERM and with subcontractors identified as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support project delivery and client interaction.
  • Completeinternal development tasks to improve the functionality of the Technical Due Diligence team.
  • Communicateeffectively with clients, ERM employees, and vendors.
  • Lead, manageperformance, hire and retain, inspire, and mentor personnel for the overall success of technical teams.
