UBS Financial Services INC is seeking a Managing Director, UGM OTC Equity Solutions in New York, NY

We're looking for a Managing Director, UGM OTC Equity Solutions to:
• Design new equity derivative financial products, using swaps, put options, call options, path-dependent Asian options, and exotics. Structure financial products with a sophisticated understanding of fundamental quantitative and mathematic analytical techniques, including calculus, to price and trade.
• Develop models using the analytical and mathematical tools gained through work in mathematics. Analyze single stock volatility surfaces, market volatility surfaces, interest rate environments globally, and foreign exchange rates globally.
• Predict changes in the strategy's economics from the client's perspective and the UBS's perspective based on changes in stock volatility, interest rates, exchange rates, and the correlation of the three. Assist non-quantitative professionals to fully understand all the risks and potential outcomes of strategies based on changes and expectations in these markets.
• Interpret client goals into equity products, equity derivatives to produce desirable economic outcomes for the client and acceptable UBS risk parameters Design equity products by manipulating the data to produce various results. Interpret results and changes value drivers to produce desired results.
• Write user-friendly interfaces for the equity derivative pricing models built, which in turn are used by other team members for pricing and risk determination for use in presenting solutions to various parties internally for approval, and for client presentations. Adapt product features, models, and marketing materials for new changes in product design, and designs mathematical formulas on product and strategy implementation.

Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in mathematics, business administration, finance, or a related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or 7 years of experience as an Executive Director, Director, Associate, in Equity Derivatives, Investment Banking or a related occupation.

Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable):
• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in mathematics, business administration, finance, or a related field of study and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as an Executive Director, Director, Associate, in Equity Derivatives, Investment Banking or a related occupation in lieu of Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience.

Salary information

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 350000 - max USD 500000 /annum
