What You Will Do:
Lead and support epidemiologic analyses, surveillance reporting, and interpretation of data to inform program, surveillance, and evaluation activities.
Conduct data quality review, validation, monitoring, and documentation across complex public health datasets and reporting processes.
Develop reports, dashboards, technical summaries, presentations, and analytic products for CDC stakeholders and funded recipients.
Support surveillance and detection/response activities through data analysis, visualization, interpretation, and technical assistance.
Contribute to modernization of analytic and reporting workflows, including use of tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, REDCap, eHARS, SAMS, and CDC-supported platforms.
Coordinate with project teams and client stakeholders to manage priorities, support deliverables, and ensure high-quality execution.
Provide day-to-day leadership for workstreams, mentor junior team members, and support strong client delivery in a consulting environment.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
5+ years of experience in epidemiology, surveillance, public health data analysis, public health informatics, monitoring and evaluation, or related public health consulting/government work.
Experience performing epidemiologic or surveillance analyses and translating findings into reports, dashboards, technical products, or decision-support materials.
Experience working with complex public health datasets, data quality processes, and analytic/reporting tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, REDCap, or similar platforms.
Experience supporting client-facing project delivery, coordinating across stakeholders, and managing workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US citizenship is required).
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master of Public Health (MPH) or other advanced degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field.
Direct experience supporting HIV surveillance, HIV prevention programs, cluster detection and response, public health program monitoring, or laboratory-related data support.
Experience with CDC-, state-, or local public health surveillance systems and related stakeholder coordination.
Experience leading staff, managing projects, and overseeing deliverables in a public health or consulting environment.
