JOB DESCRIPTION

The Manager, Vendor Management provides strategic account management, develops strong partner relationships, and oversees all vendor-related communications with Technology. This role will also be responsible for optimization opportunities and take lead in renegotiating contracts accordingly.   

This role is responsible for managing escalations, driving operational efficiencies, providing transparency, and ensuring achieving key success measures. Additionally, this position leads defining, implementing, and managing governance processes, oversees billing cycles, distributes performance metrics, and recommends best practices for onboarding and offboarding resources.

Please note this is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in office & 2 days WFH) based out of Secaucus, NJ . 

Pay Range: $150,000 - $160,000 / year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide operational leadership for direct and outsourced partner management teams 
  • Support in supplier relationship management by providing daily engagement, oversight, and resolution of open issues.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and contractual SLAs/SLOs.
  • Develop and maintain processes and best practices for the onboarding and offboarding of resources.
  • Develop and manage the formal change request process.
  • Develop monthly engagement reports and performance metrics for Steering Committee reviews and associated acti
  • Oversee monthly IT customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Ensure service delivery is optimized to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Develop and maintain standard processes and documentation for outsource agreements.
  • Recommend opportunities for continuous improvement to maximize ROI.
  • Act as a liaison between the MSP (Broadleaf) and Hiring Managers.
  • Partner closely with Finance during month-end close to facilitate Capital/Opex allocations.
  • Provide comprehensive vendor management support, including invoices, purchase orders, and allocations.
  • Deliver ad-hoc data requests using tools such as Clarity and BeeLine.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Resource and Tower Managers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:

  • BS in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent professional experience (Required)

 

Required Work Experience: 

  • 5–10 years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT, Finance, Procurement, and Vendor Management.
  • Experience working within a large-scale IT organization.
  • Proven ability to make quick, data-driven decisions and hold teams accountable.
  • Capable of managing effectively across all levels of an organization (managing up and down).

Skills: 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft desktop tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Proven negotiation and influence skills.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to diffuse conflict and manage day-to-day escalations professionally.
