Full Job Description

CBP: Powering the Content Lifecycle

The Content & Business Products (CBP) organization is the architectural backbone of our global mission. By engineering sophisticated products that streamline everything from creative inception and fiscal strategy to worldwide promotion, CBP serves as the primary engine for the "pitch to play" journey. We deliver high-stakes enterprise solutions that catalyze the success of our Finance, Talent, Legal, and Customer Support divisions.

This leadership position bridges two critical technological pillars. Content Infrastructure & Solutions (CIS) develops the bedrock platforms—including metadata frameworks, rights management, and financial modeling—necessary for scaling our business from the initial greenlight to global audience delivery. Simultaneously, Ntech (Netflix Technology Services) redefines the modern workplace to amplify human ingenuity. The Ntech Engineering & Reliability suite encompasses WASE, Systems Engineering, and the Business Systems Engineering units, alongside the Customer Success and Talent Tech platforms. Furthermore, the Finance & Legal Engineering teams within Ntech architect the foundational systems for our financial workflows, legal operations, Ads integration, and the Netflix House initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and expand a world-class TPM organization within CIS and Ntech, championing a high-performance culture rooted in technical excellence and extreme ownership.

  • Synthesize complex technical and business strategies to prioritize and sequence high-impact initiatives across the ecosystem.

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of transformative, multi-quarter programs involving content infrastructure, GenAI tooling, and enterprise-wide business transformations.

  • Manage critical, cross-functional integrations like Ads billing and Netflix House, ensuring success against aggressive timelines across diverse engineering units.

  • Inform architectural decisions with a focus on risk mitigation and incremental delivery, providing a protective buffer for engineering teams.

  • Develop rigorous program management frameworks and KPIs to institutionalize high-quality, metrics-driven execution.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product leadership to synchronize roadmaps and facilitate pivotal decision-making with stakeholders.

  • Build and sustain trusted partnerships across a multifaceted landscape of internal stakeholders.

  • Negotiate with enterprise vendors to ensure their product trajectories meet the specific needs of Netflix.

  • Proactively address enterprise-level risks, including compliance and operational continuity, making strategic tradeoffs to protect the business.

  • Establish and refine the operational heartbeat of the engineering organization, focusing on planning, synchronization, and iterative improvement.

Qualifications

  • Decade-plus of leadership in technical program management or engineering, demonstrating significant cross-functional influence.

  • Proven track record (3+ years) of managing TPM teams and developing top-tier talent within high-performing orgs.

  • History of driving massive enterprise programs in content, finance, or data systems with measurable regulatory or revenue impact.

  • Fluency in enterprise SaaS landscapes and the nuances of operating within complex regulatory environments.

  • Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies, including GenAI, AI/ML, and modern workplace productivity platforms.

  • Capability to engage deeply with engineers, providing credible guidance on everything from system design to delivery strategy.

  • Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to foster cross-group collaboration.

  • Adept at navigating ambiguity and building consensus through influence in a decentralized, autonomous environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A self-driven leader who thrives on bringing structure and clarity to nebulous, high-stakes challenges.

  • A champion of the Netflix culture who embodies our values in every interaction.

  • Possesses a natural instinct for shielding engineering teams from noise, favoring iterative value over monolithic risk.

  • Deep domain expertise in content and enterprise infrastructure, particularly where GenAI and financial platforms intersect.

  • Experience spearheading modernization efforts that fundamentally redefine organizational workflows.

  • A visionary professional eager to leave a lasting mark in a high-impact leadership role.
