Full Job Description
This role oversees a complex, cross-functional portfolio of programs and projects critical to the organization’s strategic goals, with a special focus on the operationalization of Netflix studio products. The Director, Global Program Management provides leadership, ensures alignment across teams, and drives operational excellence through efficient and effective program management. This role blends strategic thinking, people management, and project delivery expertise. Responsibilities: - Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all programs and projects within the portfolio - Partner with Product & Tech organizations and oversee the operationalization of Netflix studio products to Content Production teams - Partner with Production Solutions organizations to inform global planning with regional perspectives, and to enable regional execution of global initiatives - Connect the Content Operations & Innovation organization with regional Production Solutions when initiatives or interests span both cohorts - Partner with Production Solutions organizations to inform global planning with regional perspectives, and enable regional execution of global initiatives - Align portfolio with organization’s goals and priorities to directly contribute to Content Production success - Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the portfolio to ensure successful delivery and minimal disruption to business operations - Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of program and project managers - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, feedback, collaboration, inclusivity, and accountability - Serve as the primary team point-of-contact for leadership and key stakeholders - Facilitate communication and alignment across cross-functional teams - Collaborate with leaders to inform strategic planning and decision making - Orchestrate annual planning activities with cross-functional teams (e.g. Objectives & Key Results shared with Content Production & Studio Product) - Lead an aligned multi-functional internal team in the spirit of Netflix values. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $365,000.00 - $775,000.00. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
