About the Role

The Manager, Technical Product Integration is responsible for leading the successful implementation, integration, and ongoing adoption of BD APM's connected healthcare solutions. This customer-facing role partners closely with health systems, clinicians, IT teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment, optimization, and support of software and SaaS-based products.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, healthcare IT integration experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers during implementation, configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of BD APM capital and software solutions.
  • Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and escalations, partnering with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to drive timely solutions.
  • Build strong customer relationships that increase product adoption, drive customer satisfaction, and support long-term retention.
  • Collaborate with APM R&D, Marketing, and Product Security to develop customer-facing product statements for IT/IS questionnaires and product reviews.
  • Develop and deliver technical and clinical training programs for customers, including clinicians, biomedical engineering teams, and hospital IT staff.
  • Analyze support trends and recurring issues to identify opportunities for process improvements and reduce escalations.
  • Plan and execute software and firmware upgrades while minimizing disruption to customer clinical and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with hospital IT and EMR teams to integrate BD APM solutions with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms.
  • Provide consulting and subject matter expertise to help customers expand system utilization and maximize the value of BD's technology solutions.
  • Lead and mentor team members while promoting continuous improvement and customer-centric service delivery.
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting healthcare software products, system integrations, or healthcare IT environments at a hospital, integrated delivery network (IDN), or health system level.
  • Experience implementing and supporting SaaS applications and enterprise software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, IT infrastructure, and clinical environments.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EMR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Meditech, or Allscripts.
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, and IHE.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, XML, HTML, SOAP, and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with medical device connectivity and integration.
  • Familiarity with medical devices cybersecurity concepts.
  • Experience within the medical device or healthcare technology industry.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare IT infrastructure, networking, wireless technologies, and EMR connectivity.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Travel

This position requires travel, including occasional overnight travel, to support customer installations, upgrades, training, and business needs.
