Execute Brewing technical services across US sites, to ensure excellence in GFB production and Blend Quality through management of fermentation, filtration, and blending processes
Accountabilities:Conduct Quality Innovation for US Brewing and 3rd Party mfg. - Conduct innovation trial including assess technical feasibility, and evaluate sensory, micro & analytical across sites
- Management of the commercialization of innovation projects while scaling from concept to finished products
Conduct Quality Assurance for US Brewing and Copack Network (liquid)- Management of the brewing and blending processes for our products with an emphasis on safety, quality and service while monitoring losses at a plant level
- Management of brew formulations and GFB production standard and Blending Requirements
Conduct Audit & Certification for Brewing and 3rd Party mfg- Audit & certify current & new in-house plants, co-man, co-packers, suppliers, and distributors
- Provide support technical for co-packers
- Support QA with performance data and changes to local protocol & policy needs
Key Metrics & Financial Targets:- GFB and FG Sensory Scores
- GFB and Blend Loss Rates
- Fermentation and GFB Analytics and Micro
- Consumer Complaints
Own:- Execute cross-site Technical Services for North America Brewing including Quality Innovation, Quality Assurance, and Audit and Certification of In-house and 3rd Party mfg.
Influence:- Manufacturing and supplier decisions in US related to Brewing, Filtration, and Blending
- Local blending needs for new product innovation across US sites with International Support
Veto:- In-house and 3rd Party based on severity of Audit results
- Site specific policies, protocols, procedures, and innovation commercialization
Critical Relationships:- Local Site Brewing and Quality: support audit of current operations and new product innovation
- Product Development, Engineering, and Packaging Technical Services: collaborate on Projects, Innovation, and Audit tasks and decisions
- Supply Chain: solve production Quality concerns, test samples, and raise potential issues
- Procurement: collaborate on supplier decisions
Skills Needed To Be Successful:- Degree or diploma in related field (e.g., Brewing, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Micro, Food Science, Operations)
- 5+ years of Brewing/Carbonated Beverage/Alcohol Operations or Quality experience in a high speed, multi-sku facility
- Expert knowledge of brewing, filtration, high speed blending and associated testing / Quality procedures
- Project management experience (PMP Certification preferred)
Compensation:Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions' location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
