Job Function: Project/Program Management Group Job Sub Function: Project/Program Management Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Jacksonville, Florida, United States of America, Limerick, Ireland Job Description: Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision, Inc. is recruiting for a Manager, Supply Chain Programs, located in Jacksonville, FL or Limerick, Ireland. The Manager, Supply Chain Programs is a key member of the Surgical Vision Supply Chain Value Stream Organization responsible for enabling end-to-end supply chain program execution across complex initiatives and portfolio management activities for the SV Implants portfolio (IOL, OVD, and Inserters). This role requires a strong understanding of the business segment, including supply chain operations, financial performance drivers, marketing insights, quality, service, and core business processes. The Manager will lead cross-functional teams and drive the deployment of standardized processes to enable consistent, efficient, and transparent execution of projects, programs, and portfolio activities across the SV Implants Supply Chain. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively across multiple levels of the Franchise and Global Supply Chain within a matrixed environment. Accountabilities:
  • Deploy and support management of standardized processes and tools to support project, program, and portfolio management, ensuring consistency, transparency, and accountability across the organization
  • Enable effective end-to-end execution management across projects and programs, ensuring alignment of portfolio activities with supply chain priorities and business objectives
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to execute complex supply chain initiatives and support lifecycle and portfolio strategies
  • Drive alignment and execution across cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives; proactively identify risks and ensure appropriate mitigation and contingency plans are in place
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure the supply chain organization is informed, engaged, and prepared to execute complex supply chain program strategies
  • Ensure value stream and program teams have clear visibility into portfolio status, risks, and contingency plans.
  • Support delivery of the SV Implants Supply Chain portfolio through collaboration with PLAN, MAKE, MAKE Engineering, Source, Deliver, PP&L, IT, Quality, Commercial, and R&D
Qualifications: Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or University degree is required; a technical degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management is preferred
Required:
  • A minimum of six (6) to eight (8) years of relevant business experience is required
  • Experience in one or more of the following functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Product Management, Supply Chain disciplines, or R&D) is required
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and/or programs within a cross-functional, matrix organization is required
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to translate insights into actions is required
  • Experience in large-scale program and/or portfolio management, along with demonstrated use of project, program, and portfolio management processes and tools (PMO frameworks), is required
  • Proven ability to build alignment, influence without authority, and lead cross-functional teams is required
  • Strong communication skills, including experience preparing and delivering executive-level presentations, is required
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments and manage ambiguity is required
Preferred:
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is preferred
  • Healthcare or regulated industry experience is preferred
Other:
  • May require up to 25% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites
