Job Purpose:

Our Supply Chain Network Engineering Manager serves as the chief architect of the company's future distribution network. This highly strategic role combines supply chain design, industrial engineering, network optimization, and capital planning to create the blueprint for growth. Leveraging advanced analytics, engineering expertise, and cross-functional leadership, this individual drives the decisions that determine where facilities are located, how they operate, and how the network evolves to meet future customer and business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

● Shape the future distribution network strategy by designing a scalable, cost-effective, and resilient supply chain footprint that supports long-term growth, customer service excellence, and profitability.
● Lead network optimization and scenario planning efforts, leveraging advanced modeling and digital twin capabilities to evaluate acquisitions, expansions, consolidations, automation investments, and emerging market opportunities.
● Drive enterprise-level investment decisions by translating complex operational, financial, and engineering analyses into clear recommendations that influence senior leadership strategy and capital allocation.
● Establish the engineering framework for future distribution facilities, defining standards for capacity, flow, automation readiness, storage solutions, and operational scalability across the network.
● Identify transformational opportunities to enhance network performance, balancing service, cost, capacity, labor availability, sustainability, and customer experience to optimize cost-to-serve.
● Partner on real estate and location strategy, providing engineering expertise and data-driven insights that guide site selection, facility investments, acquisitions, and portfolio optimization decisions.
● Champion innovation across warehouse and fulfillment operations, evaluating automation technologies, network design concepts, and emerging solutions that improve efficiency and future-proof the supply chain.
● Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Operations, Transportation, Finance, Technology, Demand Planning, Real Estate, and external partners to align network strategies with business priorities and execution plans.
● Develop repeatable planning methodologies and analytical capabilities that become the foundation for strategic network evaluations, investment decisions, and long-range supply chain planning.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

● Strong background in: 
o    Facility layout 
o    Warehouse engineering 
o    Capacity modeling 
o    Distribution center design 
o    Flow analysis 
o    Slotting 
● Experience using network optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Coupa Supply Chain Design, Optilogic, AnyLogistix, or similar). 
● Advanced analytical skills using Excel and SQL and/or Python. 
● Experience building executive business cases for capital investments. 
● Strong presentation and communication skills with Director and VP-level stakeholders. 

● Knowledge of warehouse automation including AS/RS, goods-to-person, AMRs, conveyors, and robotics. 
● GIS experience (ArcGIS, ESRI). 
● Familiarity with real estate economics and industrial site selection. 
● PMP or equivalent project management certification. 

Work Experience:

● 5-10 years of related job experience.

● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.

● Experience working with ERP systems, contract management, CRM systems and project management tools preferred.

● Strong planning and organization skills are required.

● Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.



















Education:

● Bachelor's Degree Preferred - Industrial Engineering
