Full Job Description
About the Role

SharkNinja is looking for a Manager, Studio Production to run the day-to-day operations of our in-house studio, based in our Los Angeles office. This role owns how the studio functions as a production facility - scheduling, staffing, equipment, and workflow - so that photo and video shoots run efficiently and creative teams can focus on the work itself rather than the logistics behind it.

You'll manage a small team of studio staff and coordinate closely with producers, Creative Directors, and Art Directors to make sure the studio is set up to support a high volume of shoots without sacrificing quality or turnaround time.

This role sits at the center of a busy, always-on studio. You'll need to be equal parts operator and problem-solver - someone who can build good process, but also adapt quickly when a shoot day doesn't go as planned.

What You'll Do
  • Own day-to-day studio operations, including scheduling, space allocation, and equipment management across concurrent shoots.
  • Manage a team of studio staff, including hiring, training, and setting expectations for how the studio runs.
  • Partner with producers and Creative Directors to plan studio needs for upcoming shoots, ensuring the right space, equipment, and staffing are in place.
  • Maintain and manage studio equipment inventory, including cameras, lighting, and grip equipment, coordinating repairs and rentals as needed.
  • Develop and enforce studio processes and safety standards, keeping the space organized and shoot-ready at all times.
  • Manage studio budget, including equipment purchases, maintenance, and rental costs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues in real time on shoot days, working directly with crews to keep things moving.

Continuously look for ways to improve studio efficiency and throughput as shoot volume grows.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of studio or production operations experience, including experience managing a physical production space.
  • Experience managing a team, with a track record of building process and raising operational standards.
  • Strong working knowledge of photo and video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and grip gear.
  • Comfortable managing budgets and vendor relationships for equipment and studio needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to stay calm and adapt quickly when shoot days hit snags.

Consumer products or agency production background preferred.
What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days, you'll get a full picture of how the studio currently runs, build relationships with producers and creative leadership, and start making immediate improvements to scheduling and equipment management. By six months, you'll have established clear studio processes and standards, with a team that's running smoothly and a studio that can flex to support a growing shoot calendar without added strain.
