GENERAL SUMMARY
The Manager, Strategic Planning & Business Development is responsible for overseeing strategic planning and business development initiatives across multiple service lines and organizational functions. This role leads an assigned team, guiding the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic growth priorities. The position partners with executive leadership, physicians, and department leads to drive organizational alignment, innovation, and margin improvement, and ensures the successful execution of complex projects and programs that advance the hospital's mission and long-term strategic goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and manages assigned team in the execution of strategic planning and business development projects.
Oversees the service line strategic planning process, collaborating with VPs, Directors, and physician leadership to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
Develops and reviews business plans, financial models, and pro formas for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and financial targets.
Conducts and synthesizes market analyses, competitor intelligence, and national trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Presents strategic recommendations and business plans to executive leadership through compelling written proposals and presentations.
Ensures project objectives and outcomes are aligned with the hospital's mission and strategic direction.
Serves as executive sponsor or lead for large-scale, cross-functional project and program implementation teams.
Facilitates hospital committees and strategy work groups, providing leadership, staffing, and guidance.
