Responsibilities

  • Engineer and automate Supply Chain tools and systems to enhance efficiency.

Full Job Description
The Manager, Sourcing Analytics & Strategy is a senior technical contributor on the Food Supply Chain team, responsible for designing, building, and improving the systems and processes that keep our Supply Chain running efficiently.

In this role, you'll partner across Food, Packaging, and Logistics to automate manual work, solve operational challenges, and lead high-impact initiatives from concept through implementation. You'll build scalable tools, improve forecasting, streamline processes, and help raise the technical capabilities of the broader Supply Chain organization.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Sourcing Analytics & Strategy and may provide technical guidance to Analysts and Data Entry Specialists.

Detailed Responsibilities

Engineer and Automate Supply Chain tools and systems
  • Architect and implement automated solutions for processes that are currently manual or error-prone
  • Own the full lifecycle of technical tools: scoping, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement

Identify Inefficiencies and Lead Process Improvements
  • Audit existing processes to identify and eliminate sources of inefficiency, rework, and waste
  • Design future-state processes with cross-functional stakeholders; define requirements, document workflows, and manage implementation
  • Establish and standardize operating procedures for new and redesigned processes, ensuring they are repeatable and transferable

Support Long-Term Forecasting and Budget Process
  • Own the annual budget process for Packaging and Logistics
  • Continuously improve the monthly cost forecast and forecasting process for Food, Packaging, and Logistics - translating variance and market signals into clear upside / downside guidance for the business.

Manage Complex, Cross-Functional Projects
  • Independently scope and manage projects end-to-end; provide regular status updates to stakeholders and flag risks proactively
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners to align on requirements, ensure adoption, and sustain outcomes

Examples of Recent Team Initiatives
  • Built an end-to-end ordering tool for buyers.
  • Automated purchase order creation in NetSuite.
  • Developed an ice inventory and safety stock tool.
  • Streamlined the replacement upload process with Technology.
  • Created a Food Cost re-forecasting process with Finance and Culinary.
  • Optimized the logistics network.
  • Reduced inventory adjustments through a cross-functional improvement initiative.

This position requires up to 10% travel to our production facilities in Chicago, Atlanta, Baltimore, and San Bernardino, CA.
