Purpose of Position
The Scheduling Manager provides a strong leadership presence to the scheduling teams through regular check-ins, team meetings, and in-the-moment feedback to develop, train, and coach employees to perform their duties more efficiently and effectively while creating a respectful, trusting, and accountable environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Creates and achieves departmental goals by coaching, developing and mentoring employees.
Manages employee performance, behavior, and development to mitigate foreseeable risks. Identify and nurture high-performing individuals for succession planning.
Coordinates with Operational Capacity, Maintenance, and EJM teams to ensure the correct number of assets (crews and aircraft) are available to meet demand.
Manages, coordinates, and plans non-standard events with the Operations team which may include traveling for offsite support when necessary.
Provides input and feedback to the Operations and Solutions Managers on the development, testing, and training of all technology initiatives that directly impact the Scheduling Team.

Bachelor's in Logistics or Data Analytics

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the Scheduling department preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Required to work irregular hours and schedules to best fit the needs of the department, including nights and weekends on short notice
