Sales & Operations Planning designs systems, structures, and processes that align sales plans with DC inventory placement and fulfillment network utilization. As a centre of excellence for inventory flow optimization, we are the bridge between the Product vision and DC execution.

core responsibilities

The Manager, Sales & Operations Planning uses their expertise in inventory management/planning, forecasting, and analytics to deliver world-class solutions for complex inventory fulfillment challenges. Focusing on North America (Canada, US, Mexico), this role collaborates primarily with Regional Planning, Global Fulfillment, Order Management, and Finance teams to deliver inventory placement forecasts and strategies, proactively identify risks and opportunities, and develop processes to optimize inventory flow while constantly adapting to changes in the macro-environment. As a key leader on the team, this role is responsible for converting strategic analysis into actionable plans and driving operational execution, working with and presenting up to the VP level.
• Develop & manage DC On Hand inventory forecast models for 1-year operational and 5-year long-range time horizons
• Deliver monthly DC On Hand inventory forecast updates that reflect changes to sales/outbound, buy/inbound, and transfer plans. Understand and communicate key drivers to cross-functional partners
• Develop & manage forecasts models for North America ecom demand placement
• Lead planning of inventory placement strategies on behalf of Merchandising and Planning that optimize inventory productivity across North America, support execution including Purchase Order splits and redirects
• Partner across multiple teams to understand and optimize against fulfillment cost drivers, provide KPI metrics to FP&A partners
• Support strategic company initiatives, including project discovery, planning, and execution
• Develop and evolve a comprehensive suite of reporting and analytics to track KPIs, conduct data-driven analysis to proactively identify risks and opportunities
• Lead and develop a small team of analysts
• Partner with international S&OP teams on best practices to drive shared process improvement

qualifications
• 10+ years retail experience in a related function (inventory management, retail or supply chain forecasting, merchandising, distribution)
• 5+ years reporting and analytics (PowerBI, Excel, SQL)
• Proven people management experience
• University degree in business, inventory management, supply chain/logistics, or related field
• Proven excellence in identifying and communicating business insights to cross functional partners and management
• Prior project management experience is an asset

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$140,200- $184,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
