Manager Sales Intelligence

Revenue Team

The Sales Intelligence team at Asurion helps the company make informed decisions. As experts in subscriber growth performance and drivers, we inform, advise, and recommend data driven decision making and performance optimization. As a member of the Sales Intelligence team, this role will lead subscriber/sales forecasting, planning, measurement, analytics, and reporting for one or more of Asurion's North American client accounts. The insights and information from the analyses will support decisions that support subscriber growth, program evaluation, investment and financial planning. The ideal candidate will have superior analytical skills, strong business acumen, familiarity with big data analysis tools and techniques, critical thinking proficiency, and solid communication skills. The candidate must be customer-centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex entrepreneurial environment where ingenuity, rather than precedence, drives how things should be done.

Here's how you'll succeed in the role:
  • Be a trusted partner for sales team leaders, become their lead growth strategy advisor
  • Interpret data from multiple sources and use data as the basis for business decisions
  • Conduct deep dive analysis into subscriber behavior and trends across different sales channels
  • Develop and maintain data models, performance metrics, and reporting systems that support business performance and data-driven decision making
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business-critical performance analysis and reporting requirements, and to manage execution
  • Package and communicate trends and insights to key stakeholders
  • Be the go-to contact for teams across Asurion for questions about sales performance and trends for certain partner accounts
  • Lead short and long-term sales forecasting and planning processes
  • Lead sales target setting process for sales team members
  • Interact positively and pro-actively between departments to promote a teamwork philosophy
  • Leverage generative AI and automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to streamline data preparation, synthesize complex research, and optimize routine workflows

  • 4+ years' experience in data analysis and modeling, consulting, planning/forecasting, sales/product operations and/or analytics, or any combination of these roles
  • 4+ years' experience using data to inform business decision-making and achieve results
  • 4+ years' experience using advanced Excel
  • Experience working with large data sets and using tools and frameworks to manage, analyze and visualize data to identify trends and report findings


Preferred
  • Sales mindset: familiarity using analyses to maximize sales or profits
  • Proficiency using PowerPoint to communicate insights and recommendations
  • Experience using statistical analysis approaches, tools, and techniques
  • Familiarity with using SQL - nice to have
  • Experience/familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Experience/familiarity with data analysis packages such as R, SAS, SPSS, etc. for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and/or visualization - nice to have
