Full Job Description
We are looking for a Manager, Sales Collateral & Proposal Management to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director Business Intelligence & Proposal Management and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

Role Summary

The Business Intelligence & Proposal Management team serves as the center of excellence for market data, insights, proposals, and sales collateral that enable Bloom's commercial organization to win deals. Bloom is seeking a Manager to lead the transition and scaling of Bloom-owned sales collateral and proposal capabilities. This role will ensure the commercial organization can independently support strategic customer engagements with high-quality, scalable, and repeatable deliverables. The Manager will own the operating model for proposal development, customer-facing collateral, and knowledge management, partnering closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Collateral & Content Management
  • Own and manage the sales collateral library, including pitch decks, proposals, value propositions, executive briefings, and customer-facing materials.
  • Develop and maintain a collateral roadmap and editorial calendar aligned to commercial priorities.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Engineering, and Sales to translate technical and commercial differentiators into clear customer messaging.
  • Govern content quality, consistency, adoption, and findability through the company knowledge management platform.

Proposal Management & Deal Support
  • Lead development of proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and customer deliverables within defined SLAs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs across Sales, Engineering, Commercial Operations, Finance, Legal, and other subject matter experts.
  • Support customer engagements, workshops, executive presentations, and deal-specific deliverables.
  • Maintain reusable proposal content and approved response libraries to improve speed and consistency.

Process Improvement & Operations
  • Build scalable workflows, templates, and operating processes for proposal and collateral development.
  • Establish clear ownership, review, and approval processes across cross-functional teams.
  • Implement AI-enabled tools and process improvements to increase speed, consistency, and quality.
  • Track KPIs related to turnaround time, content adoption, proposal quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Team Leadership
  • Manage and develop a global team of proposal analysts and design specialists.
  • Set priorities, allocate resources, and drive execution across multiple concurrent commercial initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards for quality, responsiveness, storytelling, and operational rigor.


Job Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, consulting, marketing, or a related commercial function.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience developing executive-level presentations, proposals, and customer-facing materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong business storytelling capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple high priority workstreams with tight deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating across Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, accurate, and polished deliverables.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and collaboration or knowledge management platforms such as Highspot or similar tools.
  • Experience improving workflows, implementing process improvements, and driving operational rigor.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled content creation or proposal management tools preferred.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, technology, industrials, data centers, or other complex B2B industries preferred.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
