Job Title: Manager, Retail Merchandising

Reports to: Director, Retail Merchandising & Category Development

Location: Hudson Yards, New York

What You Will Learn:

The Manager of Retail Merchandising, reporting to the Director of Retail Merchandising, is responsible for driving the end-to-end planogram process and in-store merchandising execution across skincare and haircare brands and retail partners. This role brings category strategies to life at the shelf, balancing cross-functional alignment, vendor coordination, and retail timelines, while driving operational excellence and merchandising strategy initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for planogram development, execution, and rollout across multiple national retailers with a focus on Strategic Food accounts of Meijer, Kroger, Wegmans, HyVee, and HEB.
  • Build retailer-specific category visions designed to enhance the shopper experience and support category growth.
  • Manage cross-functional planogram timelines in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Promo purchasing and Category Development.
  • Own planogram trackers, store lists, and SKU reference tools to ensure accuracy and alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee daily collaboration with third-party vendors for printing, fixtures, and merchandising management.
  • Support sustainability goals by identifying merchandising solutions that minimize waste and increase sustainability efforts.
  • Be an expert on merchandising trends, competitor strategies, and category insights to inform future planning.
  • Champion perfect store execution across focused accounts by driving implementation of global Derm merchandising standards and ensuring consistency in shelf presentation, signage, and in-store merchandising excellence.


Job Scope:
  • Manage complex high-volume planogram builds across Strategic Food accounts and store formats, while balancing competing priorities and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain consistency in merchandising and category vision strategy across brands and retailers.
  • Oversee merchandise-related budget responsibilities, including print, fixture, and executional investment tracking, ensuring accuracy, alignment to benchmarks, and financial accountability.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for retail partners, internal cross-functional teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Maintain strong day-to-day working relationships with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure execution excellence.
  • Ensure consistency in merchandising execution across categories and brands, upholding both brand equity and retailer expectations.
  • Actively contribute to process improvements and tools that increase speed, visibility, and quality of merchandising outputs.
  • Balance strategic and executional workstreams, adapting to shifting business needs and timelines.
  • Lead Walmart and Strategic Food planogram SKU distribution and store list trackers, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accountability across all reporting and tracking tools.
  • Work is reviewed against organizational objectives, deadlines, and overall business impact.

Salary Range: 90,000-140,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
