Overview

As a Manager Retail Banking, you will lead a network of branches across Southern Minnesota, providing strategic direction, coaching, and support to high-performing branch teams. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for driving market growth, deepening client relationships, developing future banking leaders, and executing business strategies that deliver exceptional results.

You will partner closely with branch leaders to enhance sales performance, elevate the client experience, strengthen operational excellence, and build a culture of accountability, engagement, and development. Success in this role requires a leader who can balance business performance with people leadership while serving as a trusted ambassador for the bank in the communities we serve.

This position may be based in any First Citizens office location within the Southern Minnesota footprint.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop branch teams to achieve sales, service, and performance goals while fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
• Client Experience & Business Development: Build strong partnerships and encourage meaningful client conversations that identify opportunities to grow consumer and small business relationships.
• Operations & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining strong operational controls and efficient branch operations.
• Market Performance: Execute staffing, sales, and business development strategies to drive market growth, improve performance, and deliver value for clients and the bank.

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 10 years' experience in sales, consumer or business lending, including 3 years sales coaching or sales management

Additional Information

If hired in Minnesota, the base pay for this position is generally between $126,000 and $150,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
