Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required.
• Master's Degree preferred for advanced knowledge.
• Valid Ohio Respiratory Care license is a must.
• Registered Respiratory credential through the NBRC is necessary.
• Current CPR certification is preferred, with NPR and Neonatal and Pediatric Specialty Certification also preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a neonatal critical care level III NICU context is required.
• Experience in neonatal intubation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage respiratory care activities in the Neonatal ICU.
• Lead the development of new programs within the Respiratory Care Department.
• Ensure operational and fiscal accountability for the unit.
• Support staff development, fostering skills and knowledge.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care activities.
• Coordinate with various healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Facilitate change management processes to adapt to evolving healthcare needs.
