What you'll be doing

The Repo Operations team is responsible for providing efficient and accurate settlements for our Repo and Fixed income business for the firm in domestic and international markets. As the Manager, Repo Operations you will provide leadership to an experienced team with functions varying from Repo Settlements, Fixed Income Cash Settlements, Coupon Claims and Payments processing. Experience supporting Repo and Fixed income trading in CDS, DTC, Euroclear, Crest (BNP) and FED will be key in the successful leadership of the team, ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs), risk management/compliance obligations, reconciliations, budgeting and succession planning are managed effectively. As the incumbent, you will be responsible for leading and executing the future operational framework and modernization of our internal processes as we continue to grow in product offerings, geographies, client base with a focus on automation and collaboration. You will frequently be responsible for resolving complex, high-risk issues with sound decisions.   • People Leadership - Provide operational/process management expertise to ensure effective balances between service excellence, cost containment and risk avoidance. Manage production activities, including resource allocations, process adherence and compliance checks. Develop strategic direction for team and implement related goals and objectives. Provide in-depth advice and support on operational/product processes.
  • Compliance and Controls - Manage risk within the department by ensuring compliance to policies, procedures and standards.
  • Business Relationships - Manage effective partnerships and business relationships to facilitate communications and effective cooperation.
  • Industry Knowledge & Education - Previous experience in Capital Markets & Wealth Management Operations, with an understanding of Securities Lending, Repo Trading, OTC Derivatives and Collateral Management.
  • Technical Skillset - Ability to analyze and process data quickly and efficiently with a strong technical and analytical mindset. Experience with Arrow, CDCC, DTC, Fed, Apex, Broadridge (ADP), Euroclear.
