WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Manager, Regional Marketing supports the execution and oversight of dealership marketing programs and platforms, ensuring accurate implementation, data integrity, and consistent application across regions. This role serves as a key partner for the Regional Marketing team in operationalizing core dealer marketing initiatives while maintaining alignment between national strategy and regional execution. The position acts as a primary liaison between HMA Marketing, Regional offices, and external partners, while staying current on industry trends in dealership marketing, media performance, measurement, and conversion

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Support the Regional Marketing team in the execution and day-to-day administration of the Hyundai Dealer Advertising Association (HDAA), dealership co-op, and regional co-op programs, including allocation, claiming, and operational support.
  • Oversee the Hyundai Dealership Marketing Program (HDMP), ensuring brand, pricing, and retail advertising compliance in alignment with HMC and Hyundai brand guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate execution, documentation, audit readiness, and issue resolution across dealer marketing programs and platforms.
  • Support alignment between HMA national media strategy and dealership Tier 3 media execution by monitoring performance, analyzing results, and recommending program optimizations.
  • Lead Regional Marketing requirements with IT Affiliate and other internal and external partners to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and ongoing enhancement of dealer marketing platforms and digital marketing programs.
  • Manage communications to HMA internal teams and field organizations regarding regional and retail marketing programs, and serve as liaison across dealership retail programs.
  • Drive process and system improvements that increase operational efficiency, contribute insights to the evolution of retail marketing strategy and execution, and support additional Regional Marketing initiatives as directed by leadership.
  • Recommend process improvements, escalating material risks or compliance issues, and making routine operational decisions necessary to maintain program accuracy, consistency, and service levels.
  • This position has common manager-level authority defined by HMA HR/Finance policy.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Six or more years of experience of which at least four years are directly related experience in the digital and online field, either with client or agency.
  • Minimum three years of experience within automotive industry preferred.
  • Ability to manage high-paced environment with multiple projects and agency personnel.
  • Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships at variety of levels; executive, managerial, subordinate and agency hierarchy of personnel.
  • Ability to take lead of the creative development of a campaign and maintain a macro strategy.
  • Effective project, personnel, and budget management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing and website practices and technologies.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Understanding of automotive retail environment.
  • Understanding of media buying practices and terminology.
