Position Overview:MP Materials is seeking a dynamic and strategic Recruiting Manager to lead our internal and external talent acquisition efforts for Operations. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for internal candidates, building and maintaining relationships with external recruiting partners, and developing strong pipelines through school and community engagement. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a passion for connecting people to opportunities and building inclusive hiring strategies. Position Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing recruiting team for Operations.
- Set team goals, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with HR leader to align recruiting strategies with organizational goals.
- Partner with department leaders within Operations to understand internal hiring needs and workforce planning.
- Manage internal job postings, candidate pipelines, and internal mobility programs.
- Facilitate internal interviews and feedback sessions.
- Ensure a positive and transparent experience for all potential candidates.
- Build and manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, staffing firms, and job boards.
- Track and analyze metrics related to hires and retention.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with universities, colleges, trade schools, and community organizations.
- Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach programs.
- Promote employer brand through community involvement and educational partnerships.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Proven experience managing internal mobility and external recruiting vendors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Knowledge of labor market trends and campus recruiting strategies.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
