What you'll do- Develop, administer, and oversee Star's Quality Control Plan for telecommunications construction projects, ensuring that all employees are following corporate lead quality standards.
- Review customer OSP construction procedures to guarantee all deliverables are met per customer requirements.
- Develop a balanced scorecard of metrics to drive continuous improvement of telecommunications construction practices across the company.
- Implement effective and timely preventive and corrective action plans to ensure the recurrence of quality problems is eliminated.
- Maintain and update telecommunications construction procedures documentation and communicate changes to subsidiary construction and quality leaders as needed.
- Support and participate in all internal quality and customer requested field audits.
What you'll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience
- Strong knowledge of equipment and practices related to the telecom industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, quality inspectors, project managers and subcontractors.
- Ability to monitor and inspect work conducted by Star and our subcontractors.
- Proven to be self-motivated, resourceful, organized, and able to be involved in multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience independently overseeing, creating, and/or managing projects.
- Experience in interfacing and training an audience at varying levels.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to travel.
