The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

The Quality Assurance Manager will provide, implement, and administer quality assurance and continuous improvement programs within our various facilities.

What You'll Do at Justrite:
  • Provides leadership and direction by administering programs that will drive the quality programs toward completion and maintaining internationally accepted programs of excellence (i.e., ISO 9001, etc.).
  • Maintains satisfaction as to quality through internal and external inspection services of raw materials, finished items purchased, and production operations and processes.
  • Conducts and/or supervises studies to determine cause, effect, and corrective measures required to remedy deviations from desirable standards of quality.
  • Confers with engineering and manufacturing personnel and in conjunction with them resolves problems of product design, specifications, materials, tooling, and production operations affecting quality.
  • Reviews all complaints received from customers for the purpose of determining where emphasis should be placed at the plant to prevent recurrence; visits customers and suppliers periodically to confer and resolve specific quality problems.
  • Conducts periodic training sessions to keep personnel informed on procedures, methods, use of equipment, and other quality assurance techniques.
  • Plans and conducts periodic audits to ensure compliance with appropriate procedures.
  • Champions the lean manufacturing effort.
  • Ensures complete documentation and maintenance of quality records.
  • Maintains reporting requirements to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental standards.
  • Conducts periodic reviews and follows through on action items for environmental standards.
  • Develops, interprets, reviews, and modifies quality plans, programs, and standards to ensure understanding and effectiveness in quality control of standards and quality levels.
  • Identifies cost reductions, process improvements, and work simplification methods in all areas of the plant.
  • Conducts management review meetings to evaluate the effectiveness of quality management system and corrective and preventive actions taken.
  • Works with vendors.
  • This job uses a computer, calculator, phone, fax machine and copier.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:
  • Four (4) year degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience in quality assurance, including management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control standards, ISO 9001 quality management systems, lean manufacturing, and QA principles.
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office to design presentations and graphs.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both in a written and verbal format.
  • UL, FM experience preferred.
  • Up to 50% travel may be required.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
