Make Your Mark:
Responsibilities include managing a team that will successfully implement the BlackLine solutions, while achieving team goals.

Candidate must have strong communication and client management skills to maintain positive employee and client relations.

Candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

This role will report to the PS Director, who reports to the VP of Professional Services, North America who reports to SVP Global Services, who reports to the CCO.

You'll Get To:

  • Effectively lead a team of engagement managers to meet team and department goals, including billable utilization, project success, and adhere to internal processes


  • Manage and lead a team of consultants to successfully implement the BlackLine suite of products


  • Understand BlackLine solutions, and how they integrate with customer systems and processes


  • Attract and retain top talent within the team


  • Coordinate and manage multiple concurrent implementation projects


  • Function as client and partner contact for project management and escalations, and advise on best practices throughout the implementation phases


  • Provide support and required assistance to team and other groups in the services department


  • Provide recommendations and best practices to customers to drive successful project completion


  • Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, and thorough communication


  • Effectively manage and maintain client relationships


  • Work both in a team environment and individually


  • Assist in updating implementation documentation deliverables as needed


  • Assist in creating processes and procedures which improve and streamline the implementation processes


  • Lead a group of engagement managers and manage team's workload


  • Drive PS revenue by effectively managing projects and maximizing billable hours


  • Identify opportunities for upselling and product expansion


What You'll Bring:

  • Strong communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization


  • Bachelor's degree


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Accounting software


  • Proven ability to show initiative


  • Strong organizational, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal, time management and consultative skills


  • Software background preferred


  • Previous project management experience


  • Previous management or supervisory experience


  • 4-5 years of consulting experience (either software, technology, or audit/accounting)


  • Previous customer facing experience


Salary Range:
$98,000.00-$123,000.00

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location.

In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.

We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring candidates have clear information about compensation expectations. For roles that include variable incentive components such as an Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) or On-Target Earnings (OTE), the compensation structure may follow a split model - for example, a 50/50, 70/30, or 60/40 ratio between base salary and variable incentive.
