Job Summary

Granicus is looking for a skilled Manager, Product Management with deep interest in software and its ability to impact global democracy, citizen engagement, and increased government transparency. No company in the world reaches more people on behalf of public organizations as Granicus - and this individual will serve as both the internal and external evangelist for the solutions that make that happen. You possess a unique blend of technical and business savvy; a big-picture vision as well as the drive and attention to detail that transforms vision into a reality. This role requires leading product owners across 4 geographically hybrid scrum teams to execute against a govDelivery roadmap that is central to Granicus platform innovation strategy in 2025. You will support a team of world-class engineers, product owners and designers throughout product lifecycle. You will design systems and processes to facilitate effect team delivery against roadmap goals. The team will be responsible for gathering business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders, building the vision of what needs to be built, and working across Engineers, Scrum Masters, Designers, Data Analysts, and the Leadership team to deliver on that vision.

Please note: Due to the direct report structure and international / off-shore resources this position manages, only candidates residing in the US Eastern (EST) or Central (CST) time zones will be considered. Furthermore, candidates for this role must possess either US Citizenship or Perm. Resident Alien status ('green card'), This is due to the government related nature of the work this role leads.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

  • Support and lead a team of world-class engineers, product owners and designers throughout product lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain a near-real time picture of concept attainment across 4 scrum teams, including the "why" behind the attainment in relation to levers like initial estimates, velocity, scope change, concept status, etc.
  • Leverage AI tools in day-to-day product management activities, including synthesising customer and stakeholder inputs, analysing delivery performance, identifying risks, and supporting roadmap prioritisation
  • Enthusiastic to leverage AI for individual workflow compression, innovations in the team operating model, and in agentic product enhancements that create value for government users
  • Lead and manage Product Owners & Managers, and govD teams in effective program increment planning.
  • Identify and apply practical AI-enabled approaches to improve product discovery, backlog management, planning, and cross-team coordination
  • Develop operations excellence to promote health and hygiene of the govD backlogs and releases across value streams (e.g. security vulnerabilities, CSIs, support, etc.)
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional communications across product management, engineering, cloud, support, implementation, solutions consulting, and customer success teams.
  • Effectively manage tradeoffs associated with delivering roadmap concepts, using data and AI-supported insights to inform prioritisation and decisions
  • Sets high expectations related to PO command of the govD tools and how they are intended to work.
  • Lead daily standups, in partnership with govD Director, across PM and POs to facilitate effective govD roadmap planning and attainment.
  • Proven success in communicating, presenting, and selling ideas to senior executives.
  • Act as a mentor, trainer and resource to other Product team members.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement and scaling of Product Management best practices at Granicus.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

USD $129,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
