QSCC is hiring a Manager - Procurement to lead our pork, fish, and ingredients categories-playing a key role in bringing some of Wendy's most loved menu items to life.

In this role, you'll drive impact by:
  • Leading strategic sourcing for critical, high-volume menu categories
  • Negotiating competitive pricing while maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Monitoring market trends and commodity dynamics to inform smart decisions
  • Partnering with suppliers and distributors to ensure compliant, efficient production and distribution
  • Supporting Wendy's menu innovation and product development goals

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with the VP - Procurement to develop strategic sourcing plans and implement a structured process for assigned categories, to ensure an uninterrupted supply of products and services that meet Wendy's® quality specifications.
  • Category improvement and innovation. Identify improvement opportunities in quality, cost, and service and/or opportunities to reduce risk through effective category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
  • Understand relevant commodities (pork, fish, wheat, etc.) and be able to apply knowledge to monthly and quarterly pricing and forecasting.
  • Assure supply by collaborating within internal program management department, cross-functional stakeholders, Wendy's Quality Assurance, Operations and Corporate Social Responsibility/Environment, Sustainability, & Governance teams, and external supplier community to maintain adequate capacity, contingency plans, and other risk mitigating activities.
  • Drive strategic supplier negotiations that deliver measurable cost savings, enhance contract value, and strengthen supplier performance while ensuring alignment with category strategies, business objectives, and compliance to standard legal and business terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier relationships focused on partnership, transparency, integrity, and innovation. Conduct business reviews with strategic suppliers, including recommending suppliers for Quarterly Business Reviews, assembling the reviews, and follow-up on action items from the reviews.
  • Support assigned categories through administrative activities, including maintaining accurate and timely updates to pricing systems and delivering monthly and quarterly management reports as required, with additional assistance from a Procurement Coordinator as applicable.
  • Stay abreast of current micro and macro market and industry issues, trends, and innovation by following pertinent industry-related sources of information and attending relative conferences and/or continuing education events.
  • Other duties as assigned.


And Our Ideal Candidate Meets the Following Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field strongly preferred; experience in proteins strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Logistics (or equivalent combination of education and experience) preferred.
  • Understanding of and experience in the food service industry
  • Experience building strategic relationships with supplier/vendor partners. Experience negotiating terms, managing contracts, and driving accountability with integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to facilitate flow of information and decisions among diverse stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Customer service & relationship management experience. Willing to engage in constructive conflict; able to navigate sensitive and/or tense situations with internal and external partners. Experience working in a franchise environment a plus.
  • Strong analytical & reporting skills, including Microsoft Excel. Experience with Power BI or related tool a plus. Able to draw conclusions and make recommendations based data such as historical trends and forecasts.
  • Ability to leverage strategic thinking to guide decisions and cross-functional collaboration, balancing short-term execution with long-term value creation and organizational impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively cultivate collaborative relationships across internal teams and external partners, creating alignment and driving results through shared accountability and open communication.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset. Proactive in seeking out opportunities, flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances, determined and persistent to push through challenges, and builds a network while being honest, transparent, and responsible in their business dealings to contribute to the long-term success and reputation of themselves and the Wendy's system.
