This role will help expand prefabrication capabilities, improve digital workflows, and lead teams in delivering high-quality products that support project requirements and schedules.

Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

Your responsibilities
  • Lead safe, efficient, and high-quality day-to-day operations across our manufacturing facility
  • Develop and execute a prefabrication roadmap that applies manufacturing principles and operational excellence practices
  • Expand prefabrication capabilities across project delivery to improve quality and enhance safety
  • Partner with Operations, VDC, Procurement, Estimating, and project teams to identify work that can be designed and delivered through prefabrication
  • Champion Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), standardize workflows, and repeatable production methods that enhance prefabrication efficiency
  • Build and implement Lean operating systems focused on safety, quality, flow, productivity, schedule reliability, and waste reduction within prefabrication operations
  • Establish visual management, production planning, capacity planning, and KPI routines that support data-driven decisions and accountability
  • Support integration between digital design, material planning, procurement, prefabrication, and field installation workflows
  • Evaluate and implement equipment, automation, and technology that strengthen manufacturing capability
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team members while building a culture of ownership, learning, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Lead change in a practical and people-focused way, embedding continuous improvement into daily work rather than treating it as a separate initiative

Your experience and skills

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams and developing people
  • Degree or diploma in engineering, operations management, construction, business, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience building or improving production systems and workflows using Lean manufacturing, Lean construction, or operational excellence principles
  • Strong knowledge of workflow design, production planning, capacity management, quality, and performance measurement
  • Experience collaborating across design, operations, supply chain, and project delivery functions
  • Experience with digital design, ERP, production management, or construction technology platforms; Revit and Autodesk experience are assets
  • Lean Green Belt, Lean Black Belt, PMP, or equivalent certification is an asset
  • Experience in electrical, MEP, modular construction, or advanced manufacturing is an asset
  • Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and change leadership skills

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
