Organization:

PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation PAD

Position Overview:

Is responsible for directing affiliate fundraising programs, with special emphasis on individual donor solicitation and executing campaign strategy. Focus on raising principal major gifts, planned gifts, and annual gifts. This manager coordinates, and executes the strategic planning for Philanthropy strategies in a manner aligned with the goals of Sutter Health. Also serves as administrative liaison to Senior Management and Medical Staff, as well as to Sutter Health leadership, in order to ensure the smooth and integrated operation of the organizations, and the appropriate alignment of operational strategies with the overall mission and available resources. Externally, represents Sutter Health in the community through various activities, ensuring that the mission and the programs of the Foundation are accurately understood and carried out. Serves as a catalyst for community collaboration by developing the Foundation as a resource for the community in improving the health of its residents.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of fundraising and non-profit organizations; knowledge of database software and prospect tracking systems; understanding of major gift strategy development.
  • Aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of MS Access; extensive experience using/manipulating databases; expertise with research techniques, including text and on-line resources; facility to learn new software quickly; proficient analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
  • Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and/or leaders to achieve business objectives.
  • Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service and achieving business results.

Pay Range is $118,560.00 to $177,840.00 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
