Job OverviewThe Personal Care Service Manager is responsible for the assigned deliverables for all aspects of Personal Care Attendant (PCA) II & III. Responsible for providing support to all PCA IIs & IIIs for all PACE service centers and PACE Alternative Care Settings (ACS). The Personal Care Service Manager will be responsible for providing standardization on the day-to-day supervision/operation of the PACE Center PCA IIs & IIIs. Collaborate with ancillary functional leaders on subject matters in the Nursing function, including PCA I (Non-CNA). Ensure all PACE participants receive high-quality care both at the PACE center and/or at their home care settings. Including subject matter guidance of clinical support, participant personal care, recreational therapies, administrative, nutritional, participant transportation, and/or day center activities, all of which are designed to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of health care and social services at all AltaMed PACE centers. This position will require strong operational oversight of system modifications, training oversight, and problem resolution/escalation with internal departments and external resources. Review and train with script modifications consistent with business needs, monitoring performance, identifying, creating, and modifying workflows for patient satisfaction and efficiency. This position will collaborate with all ancillary services at the PACE Centers and PACE ACSs, Center Managers/Directors, and corporate leaders to ensure handoff standardization, timely problem resolution, and patient follow-ups with a focus on optimal patient experience from the Personal Care Services at PACE.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Gerontology, Health Care Administration, or other health care discipline preferred.
- Unrestricted & active licensing required if with a clinical degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisor or management position in healthcare or a related field is required, with geriatric experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working collaboratively with some and/or all of the following disciplines: nursing, social work, psychology, recreation, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, dietetics, and/or gerontology required.
- Experience in process or quality improvement projects or activities preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish/Chinese Mandarin/Chinese Cantonese preferred.
- A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Compensation$79,281.31 - $99,101.65 annually
